Growing Up

I really feel like time is flying now. She is already 2 months old and growing so much. She is becoming very alert, and is the best nursing baby!! She is starting to sleep between 6 to 8 hours at night for me!!

Stacie looks so huge to me now...I can't believe she is 4!!

We welcomed her on Sunday Nov. 21st at 11:51 pm

She was 7 lbs 15 1/2 oz, and was 20 1/2 in. long




After a 16 hour labor she finally came!! We were told I would be induced on Sunday, and to be at the hospital at 8 am. We got there and got all registered and in our room before 8. The nurse came back and told us our doctor wanted to start the induction by using 3 sets of gel inserts, (meaning no pitocin, he didn't want to be 'on call' that day). So one by one...they would insert a gel, I would lay still for 1 hour, then walk for 1 hour...we did this 3 times...and I had hard labor contractions, and he was thinking of sending me home if I wasn't far enough dilated....so 6 hours later, the doctor decided I better stay since I was a 5. (ha ha on him). So around 6pm I FINALLY got my epidural...it took 22 min. for it to kick in...I was hurting so bad. The nurse kept checking me and I wasn't dilating fast enough, so we begged the doctor to break my water...which he finally did at 9pm. So I progressed to a 7. Around 11:35pm (yes 16 min. before she was born) that night they decided to go ahead and give me pitocin, since I wasn't going fast enough....well they gave it to me and in 8 min I finished going to a 10. By then the pitocin had made her heart rate drop, and the doctor came running in, asking me how fast I could get her out...I told him the other 2 I got out really fast, so he told me we needed to do it fast. Well I only pushed for 20 sec. before she came...so ya I BEAT the record. He told me I was the fastest he had ever seen. (even though I was annoyed with him for making me suffer all morning with horrible contractions, I am glad she got here safely.) It was a bad experience (labor and doctor), but the staff was pretty ok...Ihad a few hard headed nurses, but over all ok. We did get a free STEAK dinner for Zac and I in the hospital (their treat to all new parents), with Cheese Cake...it was actually pretty good!!

Baby is Coming Sunday!!

I found out I am going to be induced at 8 am this Sunday!! That's in 3 days!! I need to do some mass cleaning and laundry before then...wish me luck!! :)

Baby Update!!

Here is little miss Drama!! She turned back to head down position at the last min. Doctor was very excited. She is getting extra fluid around her, so they are hoping she doesn't try and flip back. She always has her hands or feet in her face, so it's hard to actually see her...but this is one of the best shots. She is 37 weeks 2 days here!!

2 Baby Showers!!

This has taken me a while to post, but I wanted to post and let those who threw me the shower and those who came and helped out, I wanted to tell you THANK YOU!!!

With Zac still studding and paying for his CPA exams, we have been on a tight budget, and this really helped!!

Trunk-or-Treat 2010

We went Trunk-or-Treating at our ward party tonight!! It was a lot of fun. My son wasn't scared about anything, but my daughter had a hard time with some of the people dressed up and some of the lights and sounds scared her....but over all they had a lot of fun!!

Countdown Has Begun!!

Just random excitement, I figured out today I have 29 days until my due date!! YAY!!

Stinker Baby

What a little toot she is!! She decided she doesn't like to be head down...so she FLIPPED BACK!! The docs don't know if they should turn her or not, since she keeps flipping...so lets keep our fingers crossed that she flips back where she is supposed to be!! Baby Update

Had a ultra sound today. She is doing awesome, weighing 5lbs 2 oz. From now until she comes we get weekly ultra sounds. I didn't get a profile shot of her today, so here is one of her heart beat!! And she is FINALLY HEAD DOWN!!

I found this cute little play house cottage at a yard sale about 2 weeks ago. It was such a great buy, not only was it $3.00, but it has kept her busy for HOURS!!

Baby Blessing Dress

This is the dress I bought her for her blessing dress!! It's not all white, but it was a REALLY good price compared to everything else out there!! (under $20.00). Seems like everything lately is over $60.00. And better yet, with all my ebay stuff I sold, I didn't have to pay a penny out of pocket for it!! I don't like the little hat thing, I plan on just putting a bow in her hair...but isn't this dress soooo cute??

Finally Good News!!

For the last 12 weeks every appt. we have been to I have gotten some sort of bad news. (placenta prievia, G. diabetes, breech, she is measuring to small) But for ONCE we got some good news. She has caught up to her where she should be, and is right on track. Her little leg bone is not measuring small, and she even has HAIR!!! She is still breech, so lets keep our fingers crossed that she will flip. This was a huge sigh of relief for us, even though I know I have G. Diabetes and I am really watching that. I just feel a lot better now that I can actually sleep at night!! (While I still can!!)

Another Ultra Sound

Here is our baby at 28 1/2 weeks!! She is doing really well overall. She is still in breech position, which is why they are a little worried about her. They are going to be doing weekly ultrasounds on her to check for any signs of stress. If she starts showing stress they will take her early. I guess babies can go under a lot of stress when they are in breech position. Also, they told me that her leg bone was measuring a little behind so I am going to a different Ultrasound tech. place so they can get a more accurate reading on it. Over all she is measuring really small, and yesterday her weight was only 2 1/2 pounds, when she should be weighing around 3 pounds. I am doing ok, I am just worried about her. I just want her to be safe!! Just keep her in your prayers for us!!

One of my friends has been diagnosed with Hodgkin’s Lymphoma stage 2. Their insurance isn't willing to pay for all the treatment and are asking for help. No Good Very Bad Week

This whole week has been horrible, I have been so sick on top of it, and I am stressing out. It seems like everything is hitting me at once and the load is tooooo much. It's EVERYTHING from my kids not behaving (aka fighting), to huge electric bills that I don't understand...(my ac is set at 80 and I still have to pay this much??).....being pregnant, and the added stress of Zac's career. Anyone else having this much stress??
